Get the look: Vogue Williams' stylish London home
Tash Bradley, our Lead Colour Specialist, caught up with Vogue Williams to talk all things colour, interiors, and artwork. Earlier this year, we transformed her (in Vogueβs words) βwhite white white white whiteβ London home into a modern eclectic retreat. We used a focal piece of art by Irish artist Peter Doyle to inform the colours throughout the house. Its light pinks, light blues, and teal can be seen throughout.
There was a bit of compromising to be done in the Williams-Matthews household. Vogueβs style is more muted with the odd pop of colour. She likes to use her walls as a backdrop to display her art collection, whilst Spencer is much bolder; βIf the decor was left to him weβd be living in a Rubikβs cubeβ. But thatβs what Tash is for.
Sit down with Tash and Vogue below as they delve deeper into the thought process behind the design style, and read on to find out how you can get the look.
Vogue Williamsβ living room decorated in Pink 01 paint
The living room in the Williams-Matthews household is so much more than just a living room. An open-plan living space, itβs where they spend time as a family, where they cook, dine, lounge, and podcast. Itβs safe to say itβs a multifunctional room and aΒ great example of broken-plan living.

We went for lightΒ grey Pink 01 for a whiteΒ look with lots of warmth. According to Vogue, βit was the most surprising because when it went up on one wall, I was like oh god itβsΒ really pink. But now the whole room is done, it just isnβt. Itβs probably my favourite colour, just because it really brightens up the roomβ.

Vogue Williamsβ hallway decorated in Teal 02 paint
When compared to the light-filled living room, the hallway didnβt get much natural light, but that didnβt stop us from going darker with Teal 02 walls, paired beautifully with White 01 woodwork. Itβs the perfect palette for Vogue to showcase her art collection. βI donβt buy myself expensive handbags, I buy myself art,β says Vogue, βitβs about finding those up and coming artists that you love and buying art that you look at and smileβ. Some serious gallery wall idea inspo if ever we saw it.

Vogue Williamsβ downstairs bathroom decorated in Striped wallpaper
In the guest loo, we went for light and bright with striped wallpaper paired with Blue 02 woodwork. This is a really versatile wallpaper that you can use in almost any room, but it looks particularly stylish in this downstairs loo.Β
βItβs my favourite wallpaperβand I never would have thought to put it on the ceiling!β.
Vogue Williamsβ bedroom decorated in blue paint
Sticking with the blues, we went for Blue 03 in Vogueβs second bathroom and even used Blue 02 again in their bedroom. βOur bedroom was missing something and I loved this blue. βI was worried it would make it a bit cold, but now our bedroom is warm and cosierβ. Because of its yellow undertones, Blue 02 is a warm and soothing option. According to Tash, βitβs really calming and can even help you sleepβ. Perfect for a bedroom.Β

Vogue Williamsβ bathroom decorated in Animal 02 wallpaper and pink paint
Like many bathrooms, Vogueβs en suite doesnβt get that much natural light, so we went for the warming, yet grown-up Pink 04 paired with playful Animal 02 wallpaper. βEven Spencer likes the pink! Itβs not something Iβd use in the entire house, but I wanted to use it somewhere. I want to use it in our house in Ireland, too.β

To conclude? βThe paint has really tied it all together. Iβm annoyed that I hadnβt done it before because it makesΒ such a difference. It just feels like weβve got our stamp on it now and itβs more how we want itβ. In fact, Vogue enjoyed the experience so much that theyβve painted the exterior of their house in Ireland inΒ White 01 exterior and masonry paint. Thatβs right, we ship to Ireland now!
